Challenge — Related, a leading developer of luxury residential properties in New York City, asked west elm to help them furnish two models at Riverwalk Court on Roosevelt Island. The view was a fabulous draw and Related wanted to illustrate how urban furnishings could complement the view, yet still create a comfortable home. Everything had to be done quickly to accommodate a tight deadline.
Solution — Business Sales partnered with one of its three west elm stores in the New York City area to create an interior that would accent the view without taking away from it. Furnishings, decorative accessories and paint colors were selected to compliment each other. Having worked with west elm on previous models, Related knew west elm would be able to execute quickly. Since the project's completion, Related has gone on to furnish more models in New York and across the country.
