QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS TO DESIGN TRADE PROGRAM*:
The Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Design Trade Program membership is granted to interior designers and architects only.
For other industries and professions, please read about our Preferred Business program.
To apply for the Design Trade Program, please submit at least two of the following along with your application:
- Proof of valid membership (e.g. current membership ID)
- ASID American Society of Interior Designers
- IIDA International Interior design Association
- AIA American Institute of Architects
- IDS Interior Design Society
- CID Certified Interior Decorators International
- Resale Certificate(s) - completed certificates are mandatory for each state where you are seeking tax exemption (U.S. only)
- Business card indicating your design profession
To become a member of the Design Trade Program, please download, complete, print, and fax your application along with copies of your qualification documents to (702) 360-7171.
*Please note: Membership is contingent upon receipt of appropriate credentials and completed application. Non-designer related businesses and professions may not qualify for the program. We reserve the right to make all membership determinations at our sole discretion. Each designer on staff must individually apply for membership to this program. Approved members will receive an email within two business days confirming membership and benefits. If you are applying for membership at one of our retail locations and wish to purchase at our other brands on the same day, please ask a Store Associate for a copy of your completed application to be presented with your credentials.
