Williams-Sonoma Home launched its first retail store in Beverly Hills in 2006, and followed with openings in Palo Alto; Cincinnati; Indianapolis; Portland, Oregon; and Merrick Park, Florida. The stores' merchandise mirrors and expands on the catalog offering with retail-only products in all categories, plus extensive additional upholstery fabrics and furniture styles. A complimentary in-house design center gives customers one-on-one access to professional consultants for help with home decorating and custom-upholstery choices.
