Preferred Business Program

The Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Preferred Business Program provides registered members of the hospitality industry, Purchasing Agents and Residential Developers with exclusive trade pricing, services and benefits including a 10% discount at all of our brands: Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, west elm, Williams-Sonoma, and Williams-Sonoma Home. To be eligible for enrollment as a Preferred Business, your initial purchase must exceed $5,000 in merchandise.*

Qualification Requirements:

To apply for the Preferred Business Program submit all of the following along with your application:

  • Business card
  • U.S. Business License
  • Receipt of purchase over $5,000 in merchandise from a Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand.

A membership card can only be used by the named card holder. The named card holder must present his/her valid membership card and valid photo identification in person to receive the trade discount at time of purchase. Misuse of membership may result in membership termination. Misuse includes, without limitation: use of the trade discount for personal purchases, any resale of merchandise purchased using the trade discount through any retail outlet (e.g., resale on or through any retail or auction Web site or store), reimbursement of trade discount upon merchandise return, transfer of membership, allowing others to use the membership card (e.g., sharing the card with a client), and submitting false, expired or misleading information in connection with a membership application.

Invitation an/or application of the Preferred Business card does not guarantee automatic membership or discount. Williams-Sonoma, Inc. will grant Preferred Business membership status entirely on a discretionary basis. Enrollment is contingent upon receipt of appropriate credentials. Receipt showing purchase over $5,000 in merchandise from a Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brand and completed application. We reserve the right to make all enrollment determinations at our sole discretion. Each employee of a Preferred Business must apply individually for a Preferred Business card. Approved applications will receive a confirmation email within two business days with a temporary Preferred Business card. Please allow 6-8 weeks for receipt of permanent card. Abuse of the Preferred Business card may result in a loss of Preferred Business privileges.
