Challenge — The Beauty Bar aimed to improve its merchandizing strategy to increase sales per square foot. This specialty retailer needed a modern, uncluttered space to display a large amount of inventory. Compounding this challenge were the numerous packaging shapes, sizes, colors, and brands that could easily create a sense of disarray. Standard retail shelving proved too plain and failed to capture the store's unique personality.
Solution — The Beauty Bar worked with the Williams-Sonoma, Inc.'s Business Sales team to specify products that would fit within its brand vision and spatial requirements. Key elements included economical and diverse shelving and unique chandeliers that juxtaposed the existing studio lighting, creating a clean yet inviting space. Modern-style seating provided the perfect finishing touches to the store environment.
